Chitalia Brothers was established in Bombay in 1933. Across generations, the company has remained focused on semi-precious stone products and the practical requirements of professional buyers. Today, from Mumbai, we serve wholesale buyers, importers, distributors, sourcing agents and other businesses seeking natural stone products.
FOUNDER
Mr. Suresh Chitalia
Mr. Suresh Chitalia founded Chitalia Brothers in Bombay. The business was built around semi-precious stone products, practical knowledge of the trade and long-term relationships with buyers.
NEXT GENERATION
Mr. Anand Chitalia
His son, Mr. Anand Chitalia, carries the family business forward with formal gemological education from the Gemological Institute of America. He completed the GIA Graduate Gemologist and Graduate Diamonds programs in Carlsbad, California, in 2009.
GIA EDUCATION
Gemological knowledge supporting the next generation.
Mr. Anand Suresh Chitalia earned the Graduate Gemologist and Graduate Diamonds diplomas from the Gemological Institute of America. Both diplomas were awarded on 31 July 2009 at GIA’s Carlsbad, California campus.
